The Office Fish Tank

Some of you may be able to relate to this if you knew Bob and had seen him as a client as I long as I had. I have been thinking about some of my previous sessions lately with Bob from a long time ago and have been writing them down. At one point in the '80's, he used some Ericksonian hypnosis and neurolinguistic programming techniques with me to help oversome panic attacks without medication. This was when he had his office on Bouchelle St. in Morganton. With the help of the fish tank bubbles,… Continue

dear Dadzo

Dear Dadzo

I adopted a burmese cat from the shelter. Her name is Mariana and she's 5yrs old.

I know you would love her. She's so kind and loving like Chaya. She has a silky soft sable

coat and she's very petite at 6.5lbs. I got her right after our trip to North Carolina.

Did you have a hand in this? You would say you didn't but I have to wonder.

My dad's 92nd b'day

At his birthday table
My dad makes a speech to us
his chin quivering

He says: "thank you all
but one of the closest people
in my life's missing

He looked like Karl Marx
His mind: Sigmund Freud's, his heart
Mother Theresa's."

My dad's speech over
image of white-beard angel
lingers in our minds

At birthday table
We contemplate in silence
The gift of Avi

avihaiku

I found a haiku in Avi's little notebook that reflects how I feel about him:

It is something we have earned
By having opened
