This website has been such place for healing and comfort for me especially to share with each other recently and over the last year. I have loved reading what everyone has written about their experiences with and feelings about Bob;the beautiful,funny,and the sad. I love the pictures,too.Thank you all for everything. I stopped by Bob's house just to see if I could feel his spirit there or find a bit of him. I noticed how the porch and bamboo garden looked so unkept, so un"Bob" like. I wanted to return and sweep and make it look alive again. I will return with my broom and shears, and after I put things in order, I will just sit and soak in the feelings of being there and revel in the "Bob"ness!

a wonderful life, indeed

a beautiful life, most certainly

a life touched by the hand of a saint.

What can I say? He saved my life with his compassion. The shock has subsided I believe, so I'd like to introduce myself to the community. I'm Josh Carter, fellow life traveler and philosopher. Such words I could use to illustrate Bob's great plan, but that would be against his nature. His poetry and his teachings said it all,

my favorite such phrase he fondly passed over to me was;

The sun is there, I can see it. But, should it suddenly die, we wouldn't know for 8 minutes.…

Dear Friends and Family,
There will be a get-together for Us Who Love and Miss Him :-) at the chapel in Morganton (same place as where we gathered the first time) on March 13th, 2010 at 6pm. Since it will be around dinner time, let's bring some food to share. I will post more info on this website, so please check frequently in between.
