Hi Susan! Small world, yes I believe I was there. I staffed one relatively recently and I believe it was year before last.

I knew Bob mostly back in the 70s and was very close to him and Bhasa and Binu. They modeled a family that appealed to me (not like my birth family!) which helped me to feel okay about having a child and a family. They were so supportive during those early years. They introduced me to my zen master, with who I studied for many many years. I am so glad they all have been in my life. And you? Too bad we didn't know about this connection back at Avila - we could have swapped some good stories.
