I only met Bob for a moment
It was a pretty sunny day in Marin, Nina was exhibiting her sculpture at an outdoor art show. He was in a warm discussion with her so I just said hello.
While I never got to know Bob directly I feel like I know his essence. My friend Nina transmitted his humanity and wisdom through hers and her stories of him. He must have been a positive affirming force in the lives of those fortunate enough to have shared time with him. Something there is not enough of in this troubled world.
