What can I say? He saved my life with his compassion. The shock has subsided I believe, so I'd like to introduce myself to the community. I'm Josh Carter, fellow life traveler and philosopher. Such words I could use to illustrate Bob's great plan, but that would be against his nature. His poetry and his teachings said it all,

my favorite such phrase he fondly passed over to me was;

The sun is there, I can see it. But, should it suddenly die, we wouldn't know for 8 minutes. Lightspeed doesn't mind if we have no notice of our oncoming demise. So live for the moment and remember your part in it, because you never know when the sun could expire.
