Whether winter comes
of course is not the question.
How to keep warm is.

The truth of it all
I'm making up as I go.
How do you do it?

What I understand
is not what you understand,
Do you understand?

That's not how it was!
I shout frustrated and mad.
as if "was" was.

Going on with life
is extremely dangerous,
while looking backwards.

The moon's silver glow,
though its main source is the sun,
is no less moonlight.
